As the story goes, our farmhouse dog, Shine, got out one night and under the glow of a pale moon made her way to
an open field on the Woodbourne Estate. We called out for Shine over and over, but she wouldn’t come back. Shine
spent the night outside sleeping peacefully under the white moon and stars, cradled by the fresh breezes of the Blue Ridge foothills. We found her in the morning asleep in the field and knew the land was special. Inspired by Shine’s
adventure, we too heard the call of the hills and the idea for Bald Top Brewing Co. was born.

They say perfection exists only in nature, which is why we GROW, BREW, AND SERVE our beer as close to
nature as humanly possible, in the scenic foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Madison County, Virginia.
The result? You get a Bald Top Brew done the Bald Top Way. The Bald Top Way is about more than beer, it’s about
getting people together in a beautiful place with beautiful beer. Simple as that.

Our beer features a variety of styles and flavors appealing to a wide range of taste preferences. While Bald Top
Brewing Co. does not currently serve food, our rotating schedule of local food trucks offer tasty options to meet all
of your snacking needs.
